How to Use Name Variable in Builder 2.0
Name variables can significantly personalize the user experience and improve engagement. These work like dynamic placeholders that pull in the user’s name wherever you use them on the builder 2.0.
You can now design personalized “welcome” pages, “thank you” pages, and even CTAs. Personalized CTAs have higher click-through rates than generic ones. Furthermore, you can use the name variables with our customizable checkout page, and create more tailored checkout experiences for your users.
How to get started using it
You can use the name variables on any page using the builder 2.0. For now, it’s available to be used on any heading text element. So, first drag and drop any heading text element inside the builder.
To do that, open the Elements tab from the left sidebar and then click the Text menu. Again, you can use the name variables on any heading from 1 to 6.
[Note: It’s coming soon for paragraph text also.]

Now, right-click on the heading text to open the editing panel and then go to the Content tab from there. This is where you’ll be able to edit the heading content.

To use name variables, click the curly braces and add either the {{first_name}} or {{last_name}} variable. Or, you can use both together.

Preview the page to see your admin name. Students will see their name.
[Note: For any logged out users, the name variables will not show.]

You can use this feature to showcase offers, promotions, customize checkout pages, and so much more.
