What Are The Lesson Types on EzyCourse
EzyCourse gives you access to 12+ effective lesson types, helping you create adaptable, engaging, and learner-friendly online courses.
Interestingly, the Coaching Program also supports most of these lesson types. Allowing you to offer a seamless experience for your coaching clients.

Video Lesson
The Video Lesson is one of the most essential and widely used formats. It allows you to upload pre-recorded videos directly into your course. Set video progress lock and many other useful features. Video helps build a strong connection with learners, as it’s ideal for explaining complex ideas visually, demonstrating tasks, or speaking directly to your audience.
This lesson is also supported in the Coaching Program, making it a go-to format for both traditional course creators and coaches delivering recorded training or personalized messages.
Text Lesson
Text Lessons allow you to provide well-structured written content with rich formatting, including images, links, and styled text. They’re perfect for delivering reading materials, how-to guides, or supplemental notes.
You can include any downloadable file in it and also make the lesson printable. Learners who prefer reading over watching will find these lessons particularly helpful. This lesson is fully supported in the Coaching Program as well.
PPT Lesson
The PPT Lesson lets you upload and present PowerPoint slides directly within your course, giving learners a clean, interactive way to browse through your presentations. You can make it interactive with animations, slideshows, etc and even make the lesson downloadable for your learners.
It's excellent for step-by-step training, structured lessons, or repurposing existing educational materials. You can also find this lesson available in the Coaching Program, making it useful for structured visual coaching content.
PDF Lesson
With PDF Lessons, you can upload PDF documents that are viewable directly inside the course. If learners want, they can download it based on your permission. This is a great way to share formatted guides, worksheets, handouts, and reference documents without learners needing to leave the platform.
Since PDFs retain layout and styling, they’re a reliable choice for printable resources. PDF Lessons are equally supported in the Coaching Program and are often used for distributing session materials.
Audio Lesson
Audio Lessons offer a hands-free, on-the-go learning experience. You can upload podcasts, voice notes, or guided audio sessions that learners can stream at any time. Whether it's language training, meditation, or verbal feedback, audio adds a convenient and personal touch to your course.
This lesson type is fully compatible with the Coaching Program as well, ideal for coaches who want to deliver bite-sized motivation or insights.
Quiz Lesson
The Quiz Lesson brings interactivity into your course. You can build quizzes with 6 different question types, set passing scores, time limits, and retakes. Give feedback and manage quiz submissions all in one place. Helping you to assess learner understanding, reinforce key concepts, and keep them engaged.
Survey Lesson
Survey Lessons allow you to gather feedback or opinions directly from your students using EzyCourse forms. You can make fields required, add different types of fields, arrange the order, and more about course satisfaction, market research, or understand learner preferences.
Assignment Lesson
With Assignment Lessons, learners can submit multiple written work or file uploads for manual review. This makes them suitable for creative tasks, research assignments, or practical applications of course content. As an instructor, you can provide feedback and scores based on their submissions and manage them all in one place.
Download Lesson
Download Lessons are perfect for sharing files such as additional resources, cheat sheets, or large code files. Learners can easily download these files for offline use. These lessons are highly valuable in both courses and coaching settings.
Live Lesson
The Live Lesson feature lets you schedule and conduct real-time classes, coaching sessions, or webinars using Zoom, Google Meet or a custom meeting link. These live sessions are hosted directly within your course or coaching program, offering real-time engagement, Q&As, and discussions.
Embedded Lesson
Embedded Lessons allows you to bring in content to EzyCourse from outside platforms, like YouTube videos, Google Docs, charts, forms, or use iFrame or HTML embed type. You can also write HTML or JS code inside the HTML type. This allows you to integrate resources that’s personalized or available elsewhere.
Embedded content is also supported in the Coaching Program, making it easy to include shared docs or reference material directly in a session module.
SCORM/HTML Lesson
SCORM/HTML Lessons are more advanced. They let you to upload SCORM-compliant packages (1.2 or 2004) or HTML-based interactive content. You can use this format in professional training environments where you can track scores, progress, pass/fail status, and much more.
Multiple Lesson
Lastly, the Multiple Lesson type lets you bundle several lesson formats—such as video, quiz, and text—into one unified lesson without any limit. This is perfect when you want to deliver a complete learning unit without breaking it into separate steps.
